We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Lead to oversee the design, installation, and startup of instrumentation and control systems in an FMCG process plant environment. The role involves coordinating with customers, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver engineering packages and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering design packages for power and instrumentation systems in industrial plants.
- Prepare and review Instrument Datasheets, I/O Lists, Wiring Diagrams, and Control System Architecture Drawings.
- Perform instrument selection, including systems for hazardous areas, and manage panel design per UL508A and NEC standards.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support construction, commissioning, and startup activities, including electrical equipment startup.
- Review P&IDs, 3D models, and interdisciplinary layouts such as cable trays and earthing systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in instrumentation and control design for industrial plants.
- Proficiency in PLC and SCADA systems, LV electrical distribution, and control panel design.
- Familiarity with NFPA70E, NEC standards, and hazardous area instrumentation.
- Strong project and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, including TBE, material requisitions, and vendor drawing reviews.
Domain Expertise:
Instrumentation & Control systems within FMCG industries.
Preferred:
Experience with system commissioning and validation.
